At PREPARED and EMPOWERED, we know that KNOWLEDGE is POWER. We are dedicated to delivering knowledge that will help you make a wise decision concerning many of the challenges facing us today.

It is not our intent to create "fear in the marketplace" or to sound like dooms day prophets. But obviously, it doesn't take an Enstein to realize that difficult times are happening economically, geologically, enviornmentally and politically. Preparedness just makes sense.

We believe that knowledge creates CONFIDENCE, confidence creates HOPE, and hope + confidence creates the Strength and Stamina that empowers us to move forward into the Future.

We have great confidence in the Human Spirit and we know that with the correct knowledge, we can not only survive anything, but can grow and prosper from life's lessons. With that kind of strength of character, we can build a better world and THAT is exciting!

Therefore, our mandate is to create an atmosphere of GROWTH: Physically, Mentally/ Emotionally and Spiritually. We shall not shy away from the wholistic approach to LIVING FREELY and ABUNDANTLY on all levels of our Being in ALL situations of LIFE.

Our statement of intent is to provide viable information on all levels to move forward into the Future with Wisdom and Fortitude, always providing Hope in a world that desperately needs it.

We shall provide information and instructions on how to do Basic Prepardness for any life event from natural diasters, man-made diasters, pandemics and accidents around the home. We encourage your imput and your interests.

PREPARED AND EMPOWERED will be an organic site in terms of growing and expanding according to what you want to learn to keep your family safe in all of life's transitions.

Below are the catagories we have adopted:

1) We will be addressing the physical.

In taking care of the BODY and its needs FIRST for the days to come, we will be able to move on to other critical areas of our lives. To know that you have prepared properly for your loved ones, creates a peace of mind and strength that is POWERFUL and FULFILLING. Then, you can face the future hopefully, without fear and trepidation. IT's all about the FUture.

The mind is the most powerful thing in the Universe. It is no wonder that so much information is coming forth on the Power of the Mind and creating your reality. PREPARED AND EMPOWERED shall explore these topics in detail.

As we have already addressed the sense of responsibility of taking care of PHYSICAL needs, we can now comfortably address EMOTIONAL and MENTAL preparedness. It's all about the FUTURE.

It's all about Quantum Mental Power. To be able to FOCUS your desires into reality, you must reach a place of Mental QUIETness. That is the reason to get the physical out of the way first and move on to the more powerful awarenesses.

3) Emotional stability is critial:

To be strong in face of chaos is to find that place of peace and sereneity within regardly of what is happening around you. To stay focused on what you KNOW, and have physically and mentally prepared for, is the key to moving forward to the "other side" of the turmoil. It's all about the FUTURE.

Have you ever noticed how difficult it is to think in the midst of a crisis? The midst of a crisis is the time for action. Before the crisis is the best time for thinking.

4) Spiritual Evolution is vital in creating an indestructable pathway into the FUTURE.

We lay down the foundation for a world in which our children and grandchildren will inhabit. THAT IS AN AWSOME RESPONSIBILITY. A greater task could never be undertaken.

PREPARED AND EMPOWERED discusses the true essense of Spirituality, not religion.

All Spiritual teachings, by our definition, enhances one's own religious beliefs. It is not the purpose of PREPARED AND EMPOWERED to tell anyone what to believe. Religion does a pretty good job of that....

THE ANT AND THE GRASSHOPPER

In a field one summer's day a Grasshopper was hopping about, chirping and singing to its heart's content. An Ant passed by, bearing along with great toil an ear of corn he was taking to the nest.

"Why not come and chat with me," said the Grasshopper, "instead of toiling and moiling in that way?"

"I am helping to lay up food for the winter," said the Ant, "and recommend you to do the same."

"Why bother about winter?" said the Grasshopper; we have got plenty of food at present."

But the Ant went on its way and continued its toil. When the winter came the Grasshopper had no food and found itself dying of hunger, while it saw the ants distributing every day corn and grain from the stores they had collected in the summer.

Then the Grasshopper knew: It is best to prepare for the days of necessity.
